Account – Your personal Kapacity.io Cloud account
Add devices - The action of adding new Distributed Energy Resources or Devices to Your account
Admin - A user with Admin rights within the organization of Kapacity.io Cloud with the authority to add or remove other users within Your organization
Buildings overview - A view that displays all buildings assigned to Your account
Data Processing Agreement (DPA) - An agreement between a data controller (i.e., You or Your company) and a data processor (i.e. Kapacity.io)
Device - An asset within Your building, such as a heat pump or a smart thermostat
GDPR - The General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679
Home - The main landing page of Kapacity.io Cloud
Organization - Your company or entity. Buildings and Devices are assigned to an organisation.
Owner - The Organization owner. Owner of the account can edit other users.
Promo Code - A code that allows You to add Your devices to Kapacity.io Cloud. If You do not have this code, You can always ask for one at [email protected] or add Your building to the Free Trial. If You add it to Free Trial, You are not able to add it under a certain Organization without contacting customer support.
User - An individual user of Kapacity.io Cloud
