Introduction

This document describes the requirements for heat pump and other HVAC API’s (Application Programming Interface) for Kapacity.io cloud compatibility.

Control capabilities

To make your heat pump API compatible with Kapacity.io Cloud, we require the ability to:

Mandatory:

Control the supply temperature setpoint
Control the domestic hot water temperatures (if heat pump provides domestic hot water)
Monitor heat pump domestic hot water temperature (if heat pump provides domestic hot water)
Monitor heat pump supply temperature
Monitor alarms of the heat pump

The following is a list of non-mandatory items, which can support a better control experience and improved savings:
